Wherever you go, there we are!
That’s the message of this follow-up to our popular LGBTQ+ collection of short prose and poetry memoirs on the subjects of travel, immigration and multiculturalism from a queer perspective.
Work by: Jess Alberg, Joan Annsfire, Karen Bell, Kacie Berghoef, Rasma Haidri, Cameron Kinslow, Miodrag Kojadinovic, Bethanie Melcher, Sean Patrick Mulroy, Emily Nahmanson, Nat Quayle Nelson, Dani Putney, Michael Sano, Melissa Sky, Heather Stewart, Aliah Taheri, William Torphy & Lisa Walters.
- An American-born Afghan lesbian wrestles with inadequacies of “Love Is Love”.
- A queer poet finds home in daydreams of elsewhere.
- A semi-closeted transfemme high schooler sneaks out with friends to crash Sundance.
- A bisexual woman visits Stonewall and comes home for the first time.
- A woman finds her beloved gay retreat devastated following a Hawaiian volcanic eruption.
- An American in Australia gets a permanent reminder that homophobia, too, is everywhere.
And more! Visit Greece, Costa Rica, Dublin, New Zealand and elsewhere with your queer tour guides as you find, like they did, that we are indeed everywhere!
